There are many who have contemplated the nature of man, whether to love, or to war, to think or feel. And then there is Gawain, the natural expression of a man. He likes to fight, and he likes to ****. Sometimes both at once. Dropped in Aria, he joined the monks, who hoped to fashion him into a calm warrior; instead, he simply became a more dangerous beast in combat, often eating mushrooms or downing potions to work himself into a violent, lustful frenzy. He eschews usage of weapons, instead preferring to beat and grapple his opponents into submission. Sometimes, he likes to dress in sparse leather, oil himself up, and partake in pankration, what he views as the truest test of strength. Rather, he doesn't like clothes much at all. You would know him by his bearlike appearance, sporting nothing but a loincloth and a few leather straps, placed seemingly at random. If anything, he wears more for the pankration than normal.
Despite his violent and lustful behavior, he is well-spoken, eloquent enough to inspire his opponent to give it their all. Indeed, he desires nothing more than a good fight followed by a good ****, and he is more than capable of convincing the riff-raff and the occasional worthy opponent to those ends. Such is the whiplash between his berserker-like nature and polite, almost soft-spoken nature he betrays while drinking the night away at the tavern that people have taken to calling him a werewolf. His occasional howls at the moons do him no favors there.
