***Elegant Rules Differences for a more Civilized Age***

- You get 1 all or no land mulligan
- You play first and draw first (skill!)
- You don't die until end of phase, and can go to negative life (but you can't pay life you don't have ...)
- Active player triggers and resolves upkeep effects in any order they choose (Your vise happens, then I land tax, then I use 3 Mana Crypts to untap 2 basalt monoliths, then the crypts are blank and I don't flip a coin, then I gain life from my Ivory Tower)
- Tapped blockers deal no damage (nice factory)
- The Legend rule excludes your opponent from either playing a legendary land already in play or putting a summon legend on the stack (you can clone it, but the clone is buried, "why don't you clone yourself?" - Arnold
- Interrupts are interrupts, they are essentially a stack within a stack where only interrupts and fast effects can be used
- Damage waits until the end of a batch (Giant Growth -> Bolt -> Bolt resolves LIFO but damage waits)
- Damage prevention spells and effects can only be played during damage prevention
- Mana burn is on (end of phase)
- Tapped non-creature artifacts have blank text boxes
- Cards work as written at the time not according to some new fangled ruling from a bunch of MBA suit chodes at WotC
	* Indestructible is a keyword for weak minded fools - "Jessie 'The Mind' Ventura" so cards like Consecrate Land and Guardian Beast function as written
	* Some cards say destroy a thing you own, later they'd be changed to sacrifice. This is not how the creator intended things to work clearly indicated by his use of the word sacrifice in Arabians
	* Drain Life has a casting cost of 1B, if you mana drain a drain life for 347 you'll be getting 2 mana -- there is no X in drain life
	* Most damage prevention cards are wordly differently now, either because of damage prevention being a phase OR death at end of phase being removed by pussies, reverse damage and forcefield are good examples
* Cards that have something: something, like Zuran Orb or Necropotence are 'Fast Effects' they can be played after both players have declined to play interrupts
	* Example of this is "Balance?", "OK". Activate Zuran Orb sac all my lands, you don't get priority again to cast a spell (unless damage happens, which opens damage prevention)
        * Power Sink functions. It's an interrupt, so if you cast Lightning Bolt with 3 untapped Mountains and I Power Sink for 4, you can only respond with Interrupts (or fast effects)
	* Your mountains get tapped, the mana is empted from your pool and if you have 3 other Lightning Bolts in hand, you can get bent
